CBSE CURRICULUM

THE QUALITATIVE FOUNDATION

The school provides comprehensive school education from Pre-primary up to Secondary level with the aim of progressing to senior secondary level, from the Academic year 2023-24 .As part of all round development; we have incorporated the best of education methods through the CBSE syllabus and for activity based learning, Maple bear Canada for pre Primary & Primary classes.

The pre-primary classrooms are split into two groups: Junior KG, for the age group 3 to 4 and Senior KG, for kids ages 5 and up. At this age, children learn the fundamental ideas behind the concepts such as forms, numbers, colours, animals, and plants, easing the transition to formal education.

Pre-primary educational qualities are marked by the interaction between students and teachers, enabling children develop their communication and social skills as well as their logical and reasoning abilities. The main goal of the LKG/UKG classes is to assist young children learn social behaviour, general awareness regarding the environment, etc. The Activity-based learning motivates children to enjoy learning. During this period of adjustment from home to school, a child gains the ability to socialise. They have extremely keen minds and quick learning abilities at this level. They tend to quickly absorb everything they hear, see and observe around them .The syllabus is taught  in a way to instil moral values and social ethics in children through motivational stories and short poems. The children will develop physical skills (such as balance and flexibility), an awareness of health and safety rules, an understanding of sharing, taking turns, cooperation and socially acceptable behaviour.

Primary education lasts eight years for the children between the ages 6 to 14 including the primary stage from grades I through V and upper primary stage from grades VI through VIII. Class levels I through IV are referred to as lower primary, and classes  V through VIII are referred to as upper primary also known as middle school. Children will achieve specific and measurable outcomes in respect to Maths, Science, Social and Literacy through a purposeful and intentional approach. They would be developing curiosity, imaginative thinking, awareness, acceptance, responsibility, body-mind connection, hygiene, inclusive approach, adoptability and honesty by the end of the phase.

The secondary curriculum is a skill-focused programme that gives students critical thinking and communication skills in addition to a broad and balanced knowledge of important subjects. The ideas covered in the curriculum lay the groundwork for learning more complex and descriptive ideas in higher grades as students would sit for their board exams. So, it is imperative that they thoroughly review the syllabus as they prepare. In class nine, students can choose elective and skill-based studies. The goal is to provide job oriented input in the curriculum to help children gain technical skills while getting ready to face competitive exams in the process of shaping their careers. The students must select two required language subjects from a list of five possibilities, five mandatory subjects and one skill subject. By the end of the secondary school, children will be fully formed in terms of logical, analytical and critical thinking. They will be trained in the areas of computational problem solving, research, decision making, responsibility, wise-nutrition &fitness, promoting harmony, patience and tolerance.
