DPS Amaravati
Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi
The Delhi Public School Society has a long and distinguished history dating back to its early educational roots in the President’s Estate, New Delhi, in 1941. Initially known as Church High School, the institution later became Naveen Bharat School in 1947, reflecting the spirit of a newly independent nation. In 1949, it moved to its present location on Mathura Road, where the foundations of the DPS network were solidified.
Over the past seven decades, the DPS Society has grown steadily with a clear mission: to provide quality education that shapes individuals and contributes to national progress. Through its commitment to academic excellence and character development, DPS has become a trusted name in school education across India.
Innovation is central to the DPS learning experience. Its educators continually refine curriculum and classroom practices to align with contemporary educational trends and global learning perspectives. This ensures students benefit from relevant, engaging teaching methods that nurture curiosity and critical thinking.
At its core, DPS emphasizes meaningful and joyful learning. The Society fosters an environment where students are encouraged to explore their interests, build confidence, and develop the skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. This commitment continues to guide its growing community of learners nationwide.
